OUR PHILOSOPHY
The Long Island Doula Association (LIDA) is a multi-professional organization operating on the paradigm that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are normal processes and that with proper support and education families can be empowered during this time.
LIDA and its members provide evidence-based information and positive support, education and care for women in the early stages of motherhood, from conception through postpartum.
